Nabil is a lay elder at Grace Fellowship Church Don Mills. He is a pharmacist by training, having earned a B.Sc. in Pharmacy from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and a Pharm.D. from the University of Toronto. Nabil has worked in the health care industry for over 20 years and manages a health care consulting team for a large, multi-national health care company.
Nabil was born in Cairo, Egypt and was fortunate enough to be raised in a strong Christian home. His family immigrated to Canada when he was a child and he came to know Jesus as his Lord and Saviour at a young age. Throughout his life he has served in various Christian ministries, including the Board of an international missions organization and the leadership of a young adults ministry at a large Toronto-area church. As a pharmacist and a Christian, Nabil has a strong interest in counseling and is working (slowly) towards accreditation as a Biblical Counselor. He also enjoys reading, writing, travelling, and a variety of sports. Like many in Toronto, he is a long-suffering fan of the Maple Leafs, but remains an eternal optimist - in more ways than one.
The Lord has blessed Nabil with his wonderful wife Tania and two dear children - Rebekah and Matthew - who fill their life with joy and busyness. As a family, it is their earnest desire to magnify the Lord and exalt his name together (Psalm 34:3).
