We meet all together on Sundays every week
Our Sunday morning worship services are a time to worship God as a community. We sing songs of praise, we pray, we read the Bible and we enjoy preaching consecutively through books of God's Word.
There is a Nursery to care for children up to 24 months, which is open during the entire service. GraceKids Classes begin after the worship at the start of our worship service. There are classes for children from 2 years old to the end of Grade 4.
Sunday morning worship begins at 10am and ends by 11:45am.
We meet in small groups
In an effort to be 'doers of the word and not hearers only' (James 1.22) we include all members who can manage the schedule in our small groups. Affectionately called TAGs (for Truth Application Groups), these groups aim to help us grow in godliness through the application of truth in a corporate context. TAG members commit to a group for one year (Sept to June). TAGs help us practice the biblical mandate to love one another, submit to one another, teach and admonish one another, comfort one another and lots of other "one anothers." The meetings are focussed on the previous week's sermon, helping us to apply truth to the way we live.
There are informal Bible studies open to everyone, and book studies, discipleship classes and prayer groups from time to time as well.
Our current schedule of TAG groups is available here.
We meet for prayer one Sunday evening each month
Our evening prayer meetings are a sweet time. We focus on a theme (this year, the Beatitudes) taking one truth to sing, meditate on, and pray about. Prayer is in both the large corporate group and in small groups. The service runs from 5 to 6:15 pm. A special program for our GraceKids happens at the same time. They enjoy lots of singing and activities, and memorize Bible verses.
This year's dates for Sunday evening prayer meetings:
Sept 9, Oct 14, Nov 4, Dec 2, Jan 6, Feb 3, Mar 3, Apr 7, May 5, June 2
We meet for prayer before the Sunday morning service
Every Sunday morning from 9:20 to 9:40, we meet in the Welcome Centre to devote the morning to the Lord. We call this the 20/20 Prayer Meeting. We seek to focus on God and what his Spirit will accomplish. We want to see Him clearly in our morning worship service.
